Warranty and Returns

01. Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 30 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire 30 days from the day on which you, or a third party indicated by you other than the carrier, acquired physical possession of the goods.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must notify Maletas D Viaje, S.L., registered address at Lugar Fial, 7 – 15668 Cambre (A Coruña), email: info@traveltienda.es or phone: 686481243 of your decision to withdraw from the contract by means of an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or email).

You may use the withdrawal form model below, although its use is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for the communication concerning your exercise of this right to be sent before the corresponding deadline expires.

02. Consequences of withdrawal

In the event of withdrawal on your part, we will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery method we offer), without undue delay and, in any case, within a period of between 5 and 10 business days from the date on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such a refund using the same means of payment you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any case, you will not incur any costs as a result of the refund. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods, or until you have provided proof of having sent them back, whichever condition is met first.

You must return or hand over the goods directly to us at one of our stores, without undue delay and, in any case, within 14 calendar days at the latest from the date on which you notify us of your decision to withdraw from the contract. The deadline will be considered met if you return the goods before this period has elapsed.

The return is free of charge for the customer: Travel Tienda covers the direct cost of returning the goods.

You will only be liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

03. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal will not apply to contracts relating to:

  • The supply of goods or services whose price depends on fluctuations in the financial market that the trader cannot control and which may occur during the withdrawal period.
  • The supply of goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized. The supply of goods which are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.
  • The supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and which were unsealed after delivery.
  • The supply of goods which, after delivery, according to their nature, are inseparably mixed with other items.
  • The supply of alcoholic beverages, the price of which was agreed at the time of the sale contract but which cannot be delivered before 30 days, and whose actual value depends on market fluctuations which cannot be controlled by the trader.
  • The supply of sealed audio or video recordings or sealed computer software which were unsealed by the consumer after delivery.
  • The supply of newspapers, periodicals or magazines, with the exception of subscription contracts for the supply of such publications.

04. Warranties

All products include the manufacturer's official warranty, which, in addition to manufacturing defects, also covers possible faults occurring during that warranty period and under the legally established terms, which by law is a period of two years from the date of purchase.

This does not cover deficiencies caused by negligence, impacts, improper use or handling, incorrect voltage, incorrect installation not carried out by authorized Technical Service when applicable, nor materials subject to wear from normal use.

05. APPLICABLE LEGISLATION

These General Conditions are governed by Spanish law. The resolution of conflicts or disputes will be submitted to the Courts and Tribunals of A Coruña, except in cases where jurisdiction corresponds to the buyer's domicile.
