The standard hand luggage size for most airlines is 55 x 40 x 20 cm and a maximum weight of 10 kg. Check out our selection of carry-on suitcases from Samsonite and American Tourister that meet these measurements for all European airlines.

Most airlines accept checked suitcases up to 157 linear cm and a weight of up to 23 kg on domestic/European flights and up to 32 kg on intercontinental flights. See medium suitcases and large suitcases.

For a week-long trip, a medium suitcase of around 65 cm with a capacity of 60–80 litres is recommended. If you travel light, a large carry-on suitcase (55 cm) may be enough.

Hard-shell suitcases (polycarbonate or ABS) protect fragile items better, are waterproof and easier to clean. Soft suitcases are more flexible and lighter. The choice depends on your type of trip.

Polycarbonate is the strongest and lightest for hard-shell suitcases. Ballistic nylon is the most durable for soft suitcases. ABS is more affordable but less resistant.

Spinner wheels are 4 wheels that rotate 360° allowing you to move the suitcase in any direction effortlessly. All travel suitcases in our store include multidirectional wheels.

A TSA lock allows security agents to open your suitcase without breaking it. Mandatory for flights to/from the US. Most Samsonite and American Tourister suitcases include it.

An expandable suitcase has a zipper that allows you to increase its capacity by up to 5 cm (approx. 15–20% more volume). Ideal for coming back with more purchases.

Yes. Samsonite, American Tourister and Roncato offer tested materials, official warranties and better after-sales service. In the long run it's more economical than cheap suitcases.

Yes. Samsonite offers up to 10 years depending on the model. See warranty and returns.

Not always. Ryanair and Vueling may charge a fee if you exceed their limits. Choose an approved carry-on suitcase and check your airline's policy.

Liquids over 100 ml (in a 1L bag), sharp objects and lithium batteries in the hold. Hard-shell suitcases must be able to be opened for inspection.

File a claim at the counter before leaving and fill out the PIR form under the Montreal Convention. We recommend hard-shell suitcases with greater impact resistance.

Use a digital scale (under €15). Standard limit: 23 kg. A good suitcase weighs between 2.5 and 4 kg empty. Check the weight on each product page in our store.

• Hard-shell: damp cloth with mild soap
• Soft: soft brush with water and detergent
• Wheels: clean off hair and accumulated dirt
• Zippers: lubricate with candle wax

Hard-shell suitcases generally cannot. Soft ones can be compressed. Samsonite sets are designed to be stored together.

You have the right to withdraw within 30 calendar days of receiving your order, with no need to justify the reason. You can notify us at info@traveltienda.es or at 686 48 12 43. More details in our return policy.

The return is completely free: Travel Tienda covers the direct cost of returning the product. You must send us the suitcase (or hand it in at the store) within a maximum of 14 calendar days from notifying us of your withdrawal.

Within 5 to 10 days of informing us of your decision to withdraw, using the same payment method as the purchase. We may withhold the refund until we receive the product or proof of its return shipment.

All products have a 2-year legal warranty, in addition to the manufacturer's official warranty (up to 10 years on many Samsonite models). It does not cover damage from impacts, misuse or normal wear.

Shipping is free to mainland Spain and Portugal, and is carried out by MRW: 1 business day if the order is received before 3:00 PM (Monday to Friday), or 2 business days if received afterwards. To the Balearic Islands shipping has an additional cost of €10, delivered by MRW within a maximum of 72 hours.

Yes, via UPS. To France, Germany, Italy and Belgium shipping has an additional cost of €20, and to the United States of €120 (import taxes not included, payable by the recipient if applicable). These shipments are not covered by the free shipping terms.
