Iberia cabin bag 2026: dimensions, rules and the best suitcases
Iberia is the most generous of Spain's four big airlines when it comes to the cabin bag. Its policy lets you take more than you might think, on every fare and without paying a cent extra. Here is how it works.

Iberia's big advantage over Ryanair or Vueling is that it allows two cabin items on all its fares:

Exact cabin bag dimensions for Iberia
Iberia allows a slightly larger cabin bag: 56 × 40 × 25 cm compared with 55 × 40 × 20 cm on Ryanair and Vueling. The key difference is the depth: 25 cm vs 20 cm. Those extra 5 cm add about 10 liters of capacity.
This means that if you have a 55×40×20 cm suitcase bought for Ryanair, it is also valid for Iberia with plenty of room to spare.
Note: the personal item has smaller dimensions: 30×40×15 cm. That is quite restrictive for a normal backpack, so make sure your hand bag fits.
